Boost spike larger than expected.

I finally got around to installing my TBE today. Espelir DP / CB with UR 3" cat. I had read some threads before about boost spiking when putting on a TBE. However, on this vaguely cool night (maybe 60 degrees) whenever I floored the gas I spiked 1.59-1.61 regularly for a second or two, then it dropped back down to a normal 1.35ish.

Is this safe? That spike seems awfully high, even if it only lasts a second. It set off the boost alarm on my blitz

I did some searching but no definite answers. Thanks in advance.
