Greddy RS Acting Weird...help

I've have my greddy type RS bov installed for about a month or so now, it's been working fine but just recently every once in a while, out of nowhere it will start to flutter at low boost/vacuum shifts, but other times it will blow off like normal and drive perfect. Anyone have any experiences with the RS valve and might have any answers? Does this sound like it may be too tight? or too loose? Thanks in advance

If it flutters it's too tight, just loosen it a half turn or so. It is odd that is just started out of nowhere though.

Are you recirculating or VTA?

I recirc my RS and the only time it flutters is when the car hasn't fully warmed up yet. What you want to do is (after warming everything up) to loosen the adjustment screw until the car doesn't quite hold the full amount of boost anymore, then tighten it until you're holding 100% of your boost again and give it an extra 1/4 turn.

Does it do that because the mass air is noticing too much air recirculating??

No, the stock intake pipe design has the BOV dumping air back into the intake after the MAF, so it's unlikely that the MAF readings would be thrown off. Like en1gma19 said, the spring is probably just too stiff.

Ok, I think i may have found my problem, as I was messing around with the bov I happend to look down and saw that the cap I had put on the turbo outlet (for the mbc) is not there anymore. What are the side effects of this not being capped off? I plan on buying caps tomorrow, but just wondering if this would have any effect on my problems.
