Test pipe = Lower Boost?

Hey, just wondering, after installing a test pipe, is it normal to have lower boost? PSI have dropped 2-3 since installation of test pipe. I installed it about a week ago, and did a run first time in about a week, but noticed my boost was 2-3 psi less. Is this how it's supposed to be? or could i have caused a boost leak while i was working on the car? Thanks!

I am no Evo expert...but from past experiences with supercharged cars that I owned I observed a drop in boost whenever I installed high flow headers or exhaust...It didnt put me low on power at all...infact I gained alot of torque...but again I am no turbo expert.

The power wise, it didn't seem like i had lost any pull, from what i feel, but it's been about a week since i last drove it, but boost gauge was indicating loss in boost. I'll check all the pipes once again tomorrow and try few more runs. Thanks!

If anyone wants to let me know of any extra info, it'd be great!
