So someone is trying to sell me his Devo Tuning Intercooler. Anyone know the specs and feedback of it? I originally wanted his AMS intercooler [my top choice], but he already sold it. Instead he's trying to sell me this one.. he says it's exactly same as the AMS unit..

Adam from Devotuning was one of the main fab guys at AMS... he is extremely knowledgable, has an 8 second car and is an amazingly nice guy.

 

I second Adam's Knowledge and expertise.. He has his own machine shop within his performance shop and i have personally seen him work. All I can say is any person willing to leave AMS to start their own performance shop must be extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Bottom line if you're getting a deal on this intercooler go for it, but if you just can't leave that peace of mind alone go with AMS.

 

This is NOT the same as the AMS intercooler. Devo tuning does not make these cores they are the XS power intercoolers that you buy off of Ebay. Adam was a mechanic here not a fabricator at AMS and he does not have a machine shop in his facility, i think you are confused as to what a machine shop actually is. He is indeed a great guy but this is not the same an AMS unit. these have been proven to lose hp over the stock IC. We tested this core 3 days ago and on a 320 whp car the AMS ic picked up 10 more whp over the XS power unit.....hardly the same. For more information on the XS power core and its drastic differences in design and function you can read my thread in the AMS forum entitled "ebay buyers beware." The XS power core is a knock off and their claims for power (the exact same as AMS) are false.

Def XS Power. It looks EXACTLY like that eBay Garbage. Big fckin intercooler with Big Fckin Power loss.

Oh BTW You can get that intercooler from eBay for under 200bucks shipped if ur lucky
