Center Differential

Hi All,
If I were able to track down a Cusco 35/65 center differential and do whatever machining necessary to make it fit in a 2005 MR, would the remaining ACD parts (clutch plates, ECU, sensors etc.) continue to function properly? I'm pretty sure I can source one of these diffs in the UK. Anyone have any other sources?
Cheers,

Oh no no no. your 05 acd crap will most def not work with any other center diff but your 05
if you change the diff you'll lose the acd which is a good thing though,.... then you can take out all that pump crap for it under the front bumper....... good luck ...

Can you elaborate? The 05 center differential is simply an open unit with bevel gears. I want to change to an open unit with planetary gears to alter the torque split. What I want to know is specifically whether the ACD ECU and associated sensors that control the differential locking plates would function normally with a 35f/65r torque split. If not, why?

Bill - I will try to ask Cusco. Not sure if they will even know the answer, as we Americans tend to be a bit more willing to experiment than the Japanese, but I'll do my best
