I installed the boost sensor today but it reads boost as negative?

then goes into positive when I boost up..

is it ok to install the sensor inside the engine bay?

I didnt want to run the vacum line inside the cockpit

this is known as vacuum. the car runs in vacuum around idle. this is becuase the movement of the pistons "sucks" air through the engine. only when you're boosting is air "crammed" in and pressure goes up.

There is no order because the grounds do not go to the same place. Ecu gnd and sensor gnd are two different pins.

ok cool... do you happen to know why the safc has preference for ground? the brown wire has to be closer to the ecu? i'm just curious now.

This thread was usefull for my install My zt2 only came with instructions for the warning box not for the main unit (unless I somehow lost them). Now if the screen came with a mounting bracket I'd be golden

Do you happen to have a boost log from your Zeitronix? Can you post it in *.csv or *.dif format?

His post was from over 7 months ago. The ZEITRONIX medical grade precision kavlico 3.5bar MAP sensor reads in both vacuum and boost.
