Quick Exhaust Question

Hey Guys,
Im picking up my Evo IX on Friday!!!! I have a HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust sitting in my garage waiting to go in. I have one quick question. If I Install the RSR Downpipe (the long one). That will connect to the HKS catback and make a full 3'' Turboback correct. Im sorry for sounding like a noob, but im kind of new to the Evo comming from a STi.

You will need a cat-delete pipe. But most of them throw a CEL, so you will also have to purchase the sensor thing that turns it off. Sorry, i cant think of what it's called right now. lol.

Isnt there a downpipe that goes right to the catback??? Where a cat delete pipe is not necessary?

Yea, but sometimes it's cheaper to buy the cat-delete, and the downpipe seperate. I know DC makes one.

That is, DC that makes the downpipe that eliminates the cat.

I think the Majority run either Helix or Buschur because of the complete 3" Diameter with no neck downs.

Other popular Dp's would prolly be the HKS , This is only my perception.
