Question on i/c piping

Ive been searching and either ive used the wrong set of terms or either there isnt info on this yet... but what would be better for a custom i/c setup.... 2.25 stainless 304 or 2.5 stainless 304 (also can get in aluminum)

and whats the pro's and con's to smaller/larger pipe sizes

thanks in advance

Andrew

are you planning on using the stock intercooler and turbo with your new piping or will you be upgrading both, one...

aluminum is lighter than stainless, and offers enough strength to hold all the boost you care to thow at your motor. Pick aluminum over stainless. The larger IC piping will offer less pressure drop at elevated hp levels. The smaller IC pipes fit better in tight spaces.

Not only is aluminum lighter but easier to bend. 2.25 should be large enough, 2.5 won't hurt.
