Car Feels like the throttle is stuck........

I just started having this problem about 2-3 days ago, basically when i let off of the throttle, the car maintain's it's speed, usually when i let off the throttle you can feel the car slow down because the engine is helping you slow down........But now when i let off, it's like i still have my foot on the throttle........ Also if i push the clutch in, and remove my foot from the throttle the car maintains the same rpm for about 5 seconds, then it drops like normal......... I've checked the TB to see if the cable is sticking when the car is stopped and turned off........ But i never see it stick............ What might be the issue? what makes the idle on the car raise when it is cold and can this be causing my current problem?

Thanks in advance!

Found the problem, i had unplugged the clutch switch to disable the launch control, this was the issue!

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead... I have an 05 with the same issue. Only, after a pull with a decent amount of boost... the RPMs stay locked at 4500 ish and no amount of blipping will bring it down.... until i stop the car. Then, after 2-3 seconds... the RPMs return to normal.

I have checked to see if the throttle cable is stuck seems ok. No catching of the throttle when moved by hand.

I just had a new clutch/tcase installed.
I just installed new TB shaft seals.

It sounds like it is this clutch switch? Any ideas?

TPS seems fine, logging 14% at idle. I didnt mess with the IAC, just unplugged and replugged when I did my TB shaft seals.

It's because you have an 05, it's called throttle hang. Check the ecuflash forum for more info.

No no - ive learned to live with the "throttle hang" this is more like "throttle STUCK". It stays PINNED at 4500-5000rpm forever, we are talking like 20 seconds here.

but if i stop the car, all returns to normal.
