the GT2835, GT2835 Pro S and GT2835R? Sure... all the A/R trim, etc. figures are great and all... and I know they are all ball bearing, but what's the REAL difference in application once they are bolted on? Thanks in advance.

 

Their are 4 different versions of the 2835. The "R" version uses the bigger 56mm inducer compressor wheel and has a 2mm bigger exducer on the turbine side. The other 3 use a smaller exducer on the turbine wheel with the only difference being the compressor inducer. The turbos are rated between 380-420hp depending on the model used.

The higher rated "R" version would provide the biggest gain on an Evo.

 

Well, 400 is the horsepower target for me so HKS' 2835 offering seemed like a good fit considering I'm a long time HKS products user. I've looked at the technical specs behind all the 2835 variations and can't see one PHENOMENAL benefit of using one over others, although there are nominal differences. Just trying to decide...

Yea I would love to hear from someone that is using a 2835 ... My friend at BOSS reccomended the Pro S or R from my car and desired application (I want something for road racing and want 400 whp on pump) ...

 

I would be surprised if a 2835 will make significantly more power than the stock IX turbo.
