while trying to install my BOV today I went to remove the fasteners for the scoop and realized that they don't work the way that I thought.

any information on how to remove them would be great.

I figured they were like the 03 and 04 evo where you push the center down, but nothing seems to happen.

They do work like that on an 05 unless someone has changed them. They have a center piece that you press down, then pull the whole clip out. What do yours look like? Can you take a picture of them?
