Engine & Tranny Limits

i'm just wonderin if anyone knows the theoretical limits of the 4g63 and the 5-speed transmission in the evo. any ideas on the maximum hp and torque u think it could handle? i would think we could take a very educated guess due to experience we already have along with jdm info. thanks, guys.

Claudius,
Any good companies that sell replacement strengthened gears? I'd like to get about 300-350, but I want it reliable.

sounds pretty tough. so i'm lookin at around 430 at the flywheel and a little above 450 foot/pounds then? i'm just tryin to get some info to compare to the sti. it's hard to do that though with the new engine. i also heard the sti tranny might only b good for about 350 foot/pounds. i guess we'll see.

Sorry..300-350 hp. I just want a reliable supercar. If I have to change the clutch relatively often then so be it..but I can't have gear replacements every 10K miles!
