Help with installing a BOV

I have taken out the stock bypass valve, but I can't seem to put my new BOV into the hoses, it just refuses to go in. Does anyone have any tips of putting the BOV into the hoses? would put some grease or some sort of lubricant would help?

Thanks!

Snag a little bit of oil from your oil cap and try that. Some people use hairspray, when it dries it supposedly creates a better seal.
