Question Sorta a noob question....

Ive done a little searching and ive found plenty of posts that mention stroker kits. i cant seem to find one thatdirectly says wut a 2.3 stroker kit is. i kno that evo's have 2.0 so im assuming it increases acual engine size....im a newbie so id appreciate the help....i dont own an evo yet i have a 92 galant but this is more of general car knowledge....anything will help

"Stroker kit" refers to using a crank shaft with a longer stroke in the stock block to increase the displacement of the stock engine. The 2.3 liter stroker kits you see use the stock crank out of a 2.4 liter 4g64 motor but have the stock bore for the pistons.
