It seems as if my clutch isnt catching on?

It happens everytime im getting outta my bf's slanted driveway

so im coming up the hill - i rev and ride the clutch the little bit and then I would clutch in but the evo sometimes would drop the rpm to 200, sometimes even stall out. For the first few times I thought its me and I freaking suck but I notice that my clutch is completely down when the rpm starts to drop and almost stall out - doesnt make sense?

It might be a common problem? I've heard from more than 1 other guy thats experiencing the same thing.
