o2 Housing +exh manifold or Turbo Internals

I need your advise. I always want it to get the Works 3" O2 Housing and since recently I also want the DC Sports turbo mainfold.

The Works sells for $420 more less
The DC sports Manifold are around $350 more less

For a similar budget I can send my turbo to get the 20G wheels with the ti/al wheels for good spool up.

Which one would you prefer? 02 housing and header or turbo internals?

I want the 20g-9 turbo but that means that my own turbo would be wasted, I think the Evo 8 turbo has a different housing. My ultimate goal is absolutely minimal turbo lag with better top end.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If I were you I would wait until the results of the 20g-9 or evo9 turbo are verified on several evo8s. Its hard to make a comparison like this without knowing exactly what the turbo will do for you. Give it a few months and see where everyone is with these parts.

If it were my personal car I would choose the turbo internals for the stealth factor (assuming it would give a very decent gain). But that may not apply to you.

I agree go with the turbo upgrade you'll see more noticable gains.

I would wait a while as well. No one has compared the two in detail.
