Just installed one on a 2005 GSR/Leather and tuned with a MAFTPro Sun night. Wow, hit 32.1psi in 4th gear and the rear end just squatted from the tq. Major torque and whp jump on the stock turbo. We turned it down to 28-29psi before we let the car go however to allow the customer to get used to it.

nice, i was out with Dryad one night and he was talking about picking one up......not to knock on you guys but im still "Iffy" about alky kits, i really want one since i ordered my 20g-9 but i want to make sure i have the best. Do you have a little more info on the kits? Warning meters? how big is the tank? i'll be running with the Utec

You should be concerned about alky if you are the "set it and forget it type". You do need to check the tank level every so often and ALL METH KITS require periodic maintenance, especially when using 50-100% methanol content. The tank we use is the rear washer fluid tank to keep meth temps low and remove the flammable (vented) fuel from the engine bay. It is pretty stealth in the compartment also.
If you want the "best", then you probably want some sort of Aquamist kit. I think however you mean you want the "best value for the money". Aquamist can eclipse $1000+.

you guys have some of the most reasonable pricing around for alky. i'll be riding in Dryads car for the Review
I have to wait around 6 weeks for my new turbo anyways.
Our progressive module is an option, I believe theirs are part of the kits.
Honestly, we do not use progressive on the shop car or any other car we have done thus far. Our dyno's, E.T.'s and trap speeds indicate that there is no issues with our boost activated unit and it works great. IMO progressive may have benefits on stock ECU's with no fuel control such as safc, maftpro or other, but for drag and street applications, we are confident in our configuration.
I believe AMS and Buschur use Alkycontrol and SMC kits which are both engine bay mounted for the most part.

I say hold off on the intercooler upgrade because gains will be minimal. The best bang for the cheapest amount of money is going to be the alky kit hands down. With the money you save buy a 10.5 housing and get a custom tune. After buying the kit you will have saved roughly 500 bucks over the 20G-9. Plus with the turbo you are going to have to dish out anonther few hundred bucks on injectors and what not.
Bottom line, noone really knows what the 20g is going to do on a stock motor for a little while longer. I think it will make good numbers, but for 800 some dollars more I dont think its really worth it compared to the alky.
