im seeing about 14-15ish.....i just took my mbc off. I was seeing 21 ever since it got cold as hell outside. It was set at 20. I was just curios. I'm going back to stock, fixing any problems with the car and selling it in better condition than when I got it. Unlike the steelership I have a concious and cant bare the thought of someone else having the problems I've had. I stand to lose a sizeable amount with fixing the minor problems...I've had to replace the tires, the brakes, its getting tranny work and whatever else pops up until I sell it. Not to mention dropping 5k on the book value.

Then something is wrong with how you put it back to stock. Did you retain and re-use the original, stock boost lines? You have to use the exact boost lines that came from the factory in the exact same configuration for the Boost Control Solenoid (BCS) to properly regulate the boost. Once this is done, you will see a peak of 19.3psi at 3500rpm or so, and it will taper to 16psi near redline. This information is easily found through basic searches, btw.

It's not worth the trouble you're going through. Sell it. I'm sure someone will love it and give her a good home.

WOT in any gear, but we usually test in 3rd. I don't think you'll be going 6500rpm in 5th gear anytime soon just to test boost...

I think the dealer is trying to screw me

I have a 2003 and my boost reaches about 0.8bar only(around 12 psi) and I have taken my car to the dealership 3 times for the same problem. They said they changed the wastegate and solenoid and its functioning properly. I took it back to them again and explained to them it never even hits 1 bar, and I know its supposed to hit 19psi stock. They pulled up something on their computer stating that the boost to the intake is anywhere from 7.7psi-11.5 psi! Anybody ever heard of a stock evo boosting at only 12 psi?

They are stupid and didn't know to install the stock OEM boost lines. The End.
