I spoke with HKS about this BOV about two weeks ago, and their rep told me that the adjustable one was the older style, and the new one is non-adjustable. The reason they changed it was because to many people were f-ing it up with the adjustment.

If you are interested in a new one, I have one that I would be willing to off. I have the original box, paperwork, filters, clamps, recirc kit, etc....

PM me if you are interested. BTW, it's the non-adjustable one...... (The newer one.)

really there is no reason you need to be messing with the screw...if i knew they were coming out, i would of waited for the ones without the screw

Reason HKS removed the screw from the back was because people were removing the "flutter" noise. That is normal with this BOV and tightning to remove it will most likely cause compressor surge. If you don't like the flutter noise then go with another VTA bov.

HKS switched to the new style quite some time ago, I believe in the range of about ~8ish months.

Unless someone has some extremely old stock of them, you probably won't be able to find them.

HKS also had problems with customers stripping out the screw on the back and 'trying' to warranty it. It was causing alot of problems so it was just easier to switch to the new style and not have to deal with the hassle.
