Engine Starting Problem

Maybe some of you can lead me in the right direction before I go to the dealership...

Sometimes when the car is cold, it will not start immediately. Heres what happens...
Ill key-on, push in the clutch, attempt to start the car, and nothing...no tick..no crank...nothing. I'll Then let the clutch out (while holding the key in the start position) then push it back in again and, voilla, perfect start. Sometimes it takes more than one clutch cycle to get it going. Most often times, it starts right away. This happens in hot or cold temps but not usually when the car is warm.

What do you guys think? Bad starter assy, clutch button sensor, other?

Its not really a huge issue becasue the car always starts after a couple tries, but I get annoyed when things don't work right.
