Quick 20g question

My friend crashed his car i got his 20g w/ the 10.5, my question is can i install this right now and add the fuel support and the rest of the stuff later, or should i just keep it with me, add all the stuff then put the 20g in, if i put it in right now with stock fuel system will it cause damage?

Dave says to run the 20G you need to upgrade to at least 680's. If you don't have those then I'd wait. Set it up to where you have the turbo and injectors installed and tuned the same week or the same day. If you don't already have it, you need a Walbro 255 fuel pump as well.

Doesn't your buddy have some aftermarket injectors in his car? Or did he wreck it before it was installed?

its probably the old 20g-8, witch made less power, but you should still never run a bigger turbo w/out at least a flash

If it were me, I'd wait til I had everything in order to run the turbo to it's full potential before I installed it. I wouldn't want to chance damaging my motor to run a turbo that's not gonna do anything until it has other stuff.

Good luck though and give us a update on the power you make.

Well that makes sense then, but I'd take it easy til you have all the other stuff. Good luck and congrats on a good deal. I hope it works out for you.
