I got a 3" RNR High Flow Cat, Can any one tell me if it will bolt up to my factory exhaust? it looks like it tapers down but im not sure....i want to install the cat and down pipe this weekend, if it will all bolt together...
Can someone please shed some light on my question?

Ive have serched but didnt find anything on fitment.

I have there system it will fit no problem.

 

Fits the factory cat back? how long did it take you to install?

It is a true 3"HF Cat. The stock catback has a 2.5" flange. You can probably make it work, but you are going to have to slot the bolt holes. PM me if you need any help.

 

I checked to see if it would fit the stock catback and it looked like the flanges match up. It took me an hour or two for the downpipe and test pipe. It all depends on how rusted your bolts are on the factory system.

 

You should start by replacing the cat back first and then work your way forward. Any gains are going to be minimal with the down pipe and cat as long as the factory muffler is in place. I would just hold off until you get a cat back and then do it all at the same time.

I know i should of started with a cat back, but i got the 3" 02 housing, down pipe, and high flow cat, and would like to install it to get it on the car, plus ill feel better about turning the boost up a little bit....

 

will notching the bolts create a leak?
