Anyone have Skunk2 exhaust?
http://www.skunk2.com/Merchant2/merc...roduct_Count=0
?
I saw the article in Turbo mag... Anyway it doesn’t lose any torque throughout the power band (along with like 2 others) and from the pic it seems to stick out a little bit from the bumper. Anyone have any experience with it ?

I was told by the guys at Invidia that they actually build some of Skunk 2's cat back systems. You are right, they do look alot alike. I have the Invidia on my car and love how well it fits and the sound is great.
Looks nice. I am also a Honda guy, and skunk2 makes quality parts for that market (coilover, cams, exhaust, etc).
Would just have to pick up a cat-delete pipe. Price is not bad at all.
Anybody w/ a pic of it on their evo?
Anybody w/ experience w/ their cams for the evo as well?
Thanx!

If it helps any.
Alot of the Skunk2 and Invidia N1 Exhaust Systems are manufactured in the same plants overseas.
By getting either or, your pretty much getting the same product.
At one point, when skunk2 first started, there exhausts were actually coming in Invidia boxes, this was at the very beginning. Since then Skunk2 has extended and marketed there own product entirely seperate from the Invidia lineup.
Sent you a pm as well relavant to the exhaust.

man im still undecided... Everyone is offering such excellent prices on the Invidia its hard to go wrong!!!! The Skunk canister still looks really nice to me and the fitment looks about the same. Can anyone get any prices on the Skunk2 exhaust? Im sure its $100 over the Invidia, so it might not be worth it...
Get The Skunk 2 Exhaust
I have the skunk2 exhaust on my car (w/ cat delete pipe). I am very pleased with both the quality of the piece as well as the performance. The sound is very mellow which is great (unless you want a very loud exhaust note...). I get compliments all the time about how nice it sounds...Also, it doesn't soot up or burn the rear bumper (which is a plus). Just my 2 cents...I highly recommend the Skunk 2 exhaust
forget skunk2. I had a skunk 2 mega power on my 01 civic that I had before my evo and it was such a pos that I will never buy any skunk 2 products again. Only a month after I got it the hangers broke off the muffler and later the intermediate pipe cracked. I called skunk2 and I had to ship them the stuff @ my cost to see if they could fix it or just give me new. I couldn't even take it to a skunk2 authorized dealer to have them take care of it. So I went to meineke and had them fix it for 15 dollars and wrote skunk2 parts off. To top that all off I still have to go to court for a exhaust ticket that I got before I got my evo. Skunk2 big thumbs down, and that used to be my favorite aftermarket company before that.

My Skunk2 catback for my IX has been perfect. The welds are the best ive seen, and the fitment is 100% perfect. One of the main reasons I bought it was the perfect fit. It sits right in the middle of the bumper opening, sticks out past the bumper far enough not to shoot soot, while not sticking out far enough to look retarded.
Another main reason for the purchase was due to the fact it was one of the only catbacks tested in the Turbo exhaust shootout that doesn't lose any low-end torque. I think the Turbo XS and JGT500 one were the only others that didnt, but they didnt look half as good. When I called Skunk2 directly, they even sent me a PDF file that contained some more of Turbo's results in a little more detailed, it was very cool of them to do.
If you want a good looking exhaust, that fits all the (at least mine) requirements, you cant go wrong with it. I'll post some pics if anyone wants to see.

Here is one of the pics Skunk2 sent me since I didnt take any on my car yet...
Also check the Excel spreadsheet in the zip file that compares the exhausts! Very cool.
