I searched and came up dry. This is not the normal, "will this fit, IX thread. I just wanted to let everyone know that HKS either has or is coming out with a Evo IX cam kit. I checked hksusa.com, and nothing yet. I got this info from the March Turbo Mag. It states that at the Sema show, they had in their booth a set of MIVEC Valvcon camshafts for the IX. It also comes with an Electronic Valve Timing controller that allows in-cockpit control of where the cams roll into their high-rpm lobes.

Any Vendor or anyone heard of an ETA on these. sounds promising

It has not been officially launched in the states although its out in Japan...as mentioned in another thread, it has already been tested by HKS Kansai in Japan ( seen in Japanese Option magazine) and at 22 psi belts out 380ps to the engine and has the valve timing controller to change the cam timing on the inlet...works wonderfully to optimise torque or horsepower...

Nothing out yet, 272 e cam has shown results presently. Several vendors are working on it. No extra lobes, just a stepper motor on the intake cam gear for variable timing (as far as I uderstand).

I actually just wanted to keep it open, because in the middle of of the night my thread was pushed off the new posts. so people were on evoms. I try not to post because alot of people seem to have a downpipe stuck somewhere painful! sorry i tried to help others that may have not known, i was stoked when i saw it, and figured others would be the same, plus i searched. I get hassled by the wife for being on here sooooooo much .
