so build the motor...Also decide how much you are into drag racing...all the top tuners are using the 2 litre and not the stroker.

I have the same kit and run it daily for more than a year already. Stock internal except ARP studs and 264/272 cams. Make 530 whp on dynojet with c16 and 410 on 91.

You may have other problem with this much power like tranmission, clutch if you race the car a lot. I did 12.2 with 122.x mph due to my clutch shifting problem and Al (dynoflash) just got the same thing when he lauched my car here in So Cal to test the 2-step rev. He can't shift into 2nd smoothly and lock-out completely at 4th gear both at high rpm (above 7000). That gave me 2 feelings, good and bad. Good because I know it's not of the way I shift that caused the lock out but the tranmission at high rpm, and bad cause I know my 03 tranmission need some works (so money).

So also save some in case these unforesee problems happens.

I run no more than 22 psi peak on 91 and always Mobil/76 gas most of the time on the street. I'm only run c16 at the track.

You'r on stock clutch? Once the 35R is on there and is tuned well, there is only one modification to look at next.............Clutch options. Drop the cash here,or you will regret it later if you don't.

Depends what kinda driver you in my opinion, if you think that its a wise choice than go for the stroker, personally id be OK with a 2.0 Gt35r.......... For a little bit anyways

i made for 445 on the old setup with a stock bottom end with cams and cam gears and a gt35...on pump gas....do some head work and the bottom end should be able to hold 500+ horsepower..run around on that and then when you feel the time is right you can get your stoker motor from ams...should have went wiith the ams turbo...but from what i hear the rnr is pretty good too

Cheaper eh? By how much? $100? How do you know the Hydra is better than the AEM unit? Do you have hands-on experience with both systems? You can't make a vague statement like that on here and not back it up.

Im going to be getting an Exedy twin HD clutch. I dont plan on taking the car to the track more than 4-5 times a year so it wont be launched a whole lot. I just dont want to buy something less expensive then end up having to replace it.
