BR350 Kit power

So my buddy just bought a 06 evo 9 last month and we ordered his buschur 350 kit last week through my dealership. his car stock right now will hang with my 2005 8 with full turboback exhaust and cat delete. im wondering with this kit on his 9 will there be any way that i will be able to hang with him with just bolt ons, i would like to upgrade to a 20g down the road, but wondering how it will compare? thanks. does anyone have experience with this br350 kit first hand yet?

You will need an mbc, cams, and a tune to keep up.

i shouldnt say that i dont want to, its just that im a little leary about it, i had cams that i put into my subaru and they just caused a lot of problems, we could never get the lash adjusted to the proper specs and they constantly had a valve lifter click. im not about to have the same sh*t happen with my evo. i guess i should do more research and learn about them more before i say anything.

Uh yah, you should. Look at the tons of people on here who have cams. Don't ever try to compare your Subaru to an Evo when deciding upon mods.

If you don't want to do cams, you can do alky, but I consider that more risky than cams.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! The sneaky mid-thread non-searching noobie question attack! You damn noobs are so clever these days. Seriously, if you don't know the difference between 264, 272, and 280 cams, you probably shouldn't even mess with cams. Please search before sneaking in a question like that!

geezus christ man, wtf is wrong with you. The guy asked a question about cam differences and you give him crap for it? Every damn thread has a stupid condescending reply from you somewhere within it, it gets old quick. Everyone watch your questions, Warrtalon is the Posting police

With the HKS cams, the higher the #, the longer the duration. Meaning the valve stays open longer, allowing more air to be stuffed into and removed from the cylinder. The more air, the more power. AIR+FUEL+SPARK.
