just had a stereo system installed into car(professsionaly). They did not tap into any factory wiring. all new wire ran. went to pick up car and check engine light on and the speedometer did not work and auto tranny would not shift. all fuses intact and working. everything else in car works. of course happend on sat. afternoon with no tech support any ideas?on 2002 lancer oz rally

 

If it worked before you took it to the Stero place and didn't after you picked it then I guess the guy who owns the stero place has a pretty ****ty situation on his hands. If I were you they would be suppling the rental while they took care of what they F'd up and then maybe even giving you some free stuff or something. But if they offer to install something else for free I'd have to say no thanks!
