Right now I'm at 234 miles with 1/4 tank of gas left which is 70% city driving and 30% highway driving with only a Dynoflash for mods.

Thats about what I was averaging. Maybe a llittle more, and when thrashing it, as low as 11 miles/gallon. Also with the winter gas mix, recently my gas mileage went down, that may have something to do with it.

I recently went through this with my last tank of gas...

Here was the rules:

1. Must stay in Vac. (The only rule)

As you know, this is damn near almost impossible. So, over the two weeks, I maxed at 5.1 psi.

Other than that, I drove normally...

Here are the results:

I saved 1.2 MPG driving like my dead grandma.

Other relevant information:

I have been keeping a log of my gas/oil/all other crap since I bought the car, all in my PDA on Excel, and here is what I am averaging since I bought the car:

$1,632 Total Spent
581.80 Total Gallons
11,946 Total Miles
20.59 MPG average

I have owned the car since 6/20/05

Highest Peak MPG: 24.32
Lowest MPG: 16.28 (Holy shiznit)

I am averaging 1-2 MPG less during the winter months, obviously during the summer it is higher.

Yes, I am a nerd, Thank You.

I'm a newbie with my Evo, but after a few tank fulls, I'm at about 250 miles myself, and that's gettin' a bit boost happy!...again, it's a new car to me!

Sound low to me. I get at least 200 at 1/4 of tank left.

Does octane have anything to do with it? I can very rarely get above 22 mpg running on 91 octane. It also seems I get a few extra mpg with a few gallons of 100 octane in the mix, but it is hard to tell because with that tank I am generally driving with a lead foot.
