Wow.. that sounds really nice. I'm really debating between the JIC exhaust or the HKS.. the one on the vid. Exhaust upgrade on any turbo cars will most likely increase hp with a larger diameter piping.

Sweet video btw.

Sounds good. They need to make one for the VIII though. The VII exhaust would bolt up but be a little short.

They do fit....but the rear bumper on the US Evo is slightly larger and extends outward from the car further than the Japanese Evo VII. The VII exhausts don't extend out from the bumper enough on the US Evo VIII.....and is at risk of melting the plastic bumper material as a result.

The only thing I do not like about the HKS exhausts is that they are coated steel rather than stainless. At least for the VIIs only the silencer was stainless.

Notice the layer of heat shield fabric above the tail pipe on that vid...maybe thats the answer to the melting plastic dilema

Someone should make a spacer that would work with evo 7 exhausts. Like where it bolts on to the cat it pushes the whole system back about an inch or two. Kind of like a 2 inch long test pipe...

Here's something i made in photoshop:
