going to get a new nine and wondering if I buy a 8 harness for the turbo timer will it work on the 9?

Dont know but you dont need a turbo timer on a water cooled turbo. The reason it is used on non water cooled turbos is because the oil will coke up around bearing. This is why most mitsubishi's run to like 100000 miles without turbo failures. notice i said most.

 

thats understandable, I still like them for peice of mind. I can let the car idle unattended and not worry about it. Great for autox days.

excellent! what brand harness did you buy?

 

the HKS harness will work you need a MT-6, its the same for the eclipse gsx and gst and for the evolutions. i have tons of them for sale if you need them
