ok guys i need ur help here. Im on another car network thing and were getting into a serious argument about Evo's and STI's- more so their blocks and how mod friendly they each are. My take was that the STI is not very mod friendly and cost way more to do then an evo would. I took an Example of someone owning an STI and an EVO - each get 5g's to spend, which would be faster? I said the EVO- also they have to pay MSRP for parts!

Also ppl were getting heated about how it doesnt make a difference that the STI has an Aluminum block and can still handle alot of boost. I said Cast iron (Evo) would be able to go alot further without even having to touch the motor. I also asked them to find an STI that ran 11.7's on the stock turbo and motor on pump and no race gas/ nitrous. I said an Evo can do it! cuz ppl's cars on here have!

Am I wrong?????? PLZ help me out lol im alone on this other site! and i need some good tech ppl to give me some answers to this dilema im havin! Im not very informed on motors although i thought I was correct on what i stated

Ive owned both cars...STI to EVO b/c of this reason alone!
