Hey guys just wondering If you change from your standard intercooler piping on a 7 or 8 to a hard pipe kit which has a wider pipe what effect will it have?

Will it cause more lag or will it give more power.

I did mine today but I cant really tell if there is a difference I am now getting a little paranoid that I might have made no difference.

Also when we removed the intercooler pipe from the turbo to the intercooler there was a build up of oil on the inside of this pipe is this normal or do i have a problem with my turbo.
