I am looking for official race results for any 4G63 running 110 octane or lower that has powered a 2800lb (or heavier) car for 12 - 24 hours, preferably 24 hours, as well as the specifications of the engine that accomplished it. I am trying to form a correlation between true power and true longevity in a built 4G63.
If there are no 4G63 examples, then any TC 4V I4 gasoline engine of similar displacement (1.8 - 2.5 litres) with roughly similar bore/stroke ratio and meeting conditions stated above will suffice.

Thanks but I was thinking more in terms of endurance road race applications where air restriction is not severe to the point of forcing the use of a radical low end turbocharger engine to maximize power in unrestricted engine speed range, as well as where engine load to vehicle speed ratio is more conventional.
I was hoping someone might know if a road race 4G63 powered vehicle meeting conditions listed in first post was ever run in the Nring or Tokachi 24 or perhaps Thill 25, and had the rough specs for it and a documented race result for the same vehicle.
Personally I only have come across 1 such car and it was <330hp, largely stock, ran 95 octane, and went 12 hours. I have not looked very hard in the past. Just starting now which is why I am asking for help in finding out. I am hoping to find higher power versions that have gone 12 or 24 hours. Purpose is comparison with other engines in similar applications.

I do not doubt that in stock or stockish form it could go 24 hours, but what I'm trying to determine is how much higher powerwise it can go given octane limit, and still hold for 12 or 24 hours. I'm looking for documented cases.
The LMP675 / LMP2 cars running, or that ran, the I4 option are roughly the same type of engine, but IIRC, far from production type blocks or components. They are air restricted, but not as severely as WRC cars. The LMP cars are also operate at different mass and aero load balances vs much heavier and less aero developed Touring/GT type car - engines of which I am trying to conduct the comparison with.

Check out this link from when Vishnu ran at the 24 Hours of Thunderhill. Shiv seemed to believe the stock motor could handle the task with the correct tuning.
Also, on post 119, there is some info on a DSM with a 4g63 running a couple of endurance races.

Yeah, the Spirit of Daytona Eclipse. I think that was '98 or '99. I have a bunch of photos in a box somewhere of that car from the pits. They had a bunch of problems that kept it from running for 24 hours straight, I believe they changed the tranny acouple of times, and I think I remember them getting some debris damage to the intercooler and radiator that put them out for a few hours. The neatest thing about that car was that they were running a cowl induction setup with a long airbox running along the base of the windsheild and then down to the turbo.

In japan they have an endurance race serie among these producton stock cars - EVO, Impreza, and 350z. Its called Super Taikyu Series.
Prova Racing Impreza took overall 1st place last year while 6 other EVOs finished within top ten..
Ohlin Mitsubishi Test & Service team finished among 1st in 2004 if I recall correctly.
