ambient temp and boost?

was wondering if ambient temperatures will mess with a manual boost controller, because i noticed today on the way home that i was only hitting 16ish psi. today happened to be the warmest it has been since i set it originally, haven't checked for any leaks yet, but it will hold steady at 16, this is with boost set originally to 20.5

Yes but it shouldnt make that big of a difference. When it was cooler was it just spiking to 20.5 psi or was it "holding to redline".
