cams?

he guys ive had my evo for a whaile now and i built it after i broke it in , and im very happy with the performance and tunes it has had , but last thing before my TT flash was HKS 272cams and the adj cam gears , and it just seems that my cars not pulling as hard as it usto , its not leaking boost or anything and at 26psi I run compaired to my friends evo IX's 21psi his pulls harder! is this because my cams are much larger thus making my gears much longer than his? idk let me know if yall have noticed a diffrince after the cams , but my car runs great

When I did my Cams I dropped .3-.4sec at the track, then the same week Al came to Town and did the tunning and I dropped an additional .2sec at the track.

Your gears are not longer your power /torque curve perhaps is. Do you have a dyno sheet?, I should be able to tell you by looking at it. As per your friend running 21psi on the Evo 9 , don't worry don't be surprise, the Evo 9 larger turbo can do the job blowing less PSI that explains part of the "phenomenon".

Also, remember, the 272/272 egts the most juice in the top end so maybe you did not rev your car on each gear to its limits..
