Yes, On a 9 with a tbe.
So, Either the valves where floating or they made some changes to the evo 9 cams which makes the 280 cam worthless.
Thats my opinion.
Is it possible that maybe its not just the new turbo that makes all the extra power from the 8 to the 9, maybe they also changed the cams a bit, besides the Mivec??

Ken woudln't happen to be their rep that was at the Long Beach Granx Prix in early April of this year would he? He drives a graphite Gray Evolution MR and has Tanabe exhaust. I didn't even realize his car had exhaust until i looked at the tip..... it was that quiet.

I met him at the show and we talked quite a bit about evo modding as well as Subaru modding since my buddy who was with me has a built WRX. After realizing we knew quite a few things that weren't public knowledge, which i still wont talk of here, he gave me some really interesting info about the new IX cams. The only thing i'm going to mention is that they are coming out very soon. Expect to see them in about one month like bbbWRX mentioned.

If i get cams once my stage I or II is done, i'll be getting a set from Cosworth. The rep i met is going to hook me up with a killer price on them since i work was working with Easy Street Performance at the races on their badass Subaru STI Speed GT class racecar.
