I like that cold air intake. I dont know how effective it is since the air pulled in passes through the hottest part of the engine (turbo).

APS makes really nice stuff. But with the intake you will need EM because it makes the car run really lean at certin load points. (at least it did with the WRX). I have not taken apart the stock box of the EVO yet so I really don't know if a intake is worth it. On most cars the gains are very little and that because the ECU is fighting to keep the A/F's to where it was programed to. I think the first mods on a evo are boost gauge, test pipe and S-AFC until there are some ture solutions to EM. Just adding the intake can be very dangrous with out EM for motor life.

Aps does make great stuff, I've got the bov, turbo-back, cai, and unichip on my wrx and I'm very pleased with the performanace. Around the rex forums they're generally known as top tier manufacturers. Eric was definitely right about the intake though, they cause all kinds of problems unless they're tuned.

They do have a bunch of US distributors though for their WRX products, so I'm sure it won't be long before they're offering their Evo goodies, if they're not already...
Here's a list of APS distributors in the US..

APS Australia stated that they are scheduled to receive an EVO VIII (not US EVO) in May and will begin developing new products. They indicated that many of the EVO VII RS pieces may be a direct fit for our EVO. Waiting for additional info.
