ive run 27 psi on our 35R on 94 (lucky for us in the northeast) octane sunoco with no knock 11.2 afr peak...
stock head gasket, arps, cams, 35R .63, 880 injectors etc.... utec etc....
but, i will run 25psi on the final tune on pump.
we have seen serious differences depending on the brand of fuels also.... i tend to stock to sunoco or mobil.

we made 372whp on a mustang, 93, 23.5 psi on a 60-1 non ball bearing turbonetics... no motor work aside of supporting mods (no cams etc)
