Thumbs up (PICS)nDYNO results are in, I went to DYNO4MANCE today

Well let me start off with, I have an EVO IX MR, I went to DYNO4MANCE today on my way home from Tennessee. I had the honor of being the first IX they have put on the dyno there, awesome.

The only Modifications my car has are as follows:

- Forge MBC
- 3" Turbo back exhaust with stock mitsubishi CAT

That is all the mods I have. I HAVE NO FLASH stock mapping. Only using 93oct

The dyno we used at DYNO4MANCE is a (DYNO DYNAMICS DYNAMOMETER) AWD

ALL PULLS WERE IN 4th Gear

The first pull on the dyno I turned the boost all the way down to stock 19-20ish psi

-The results were 254.4awhp

The second pull on the dyno I turned the boost up to 21-22ish psi

-The results were 265.9awhp

Then the last pull was a standard shootout, measures Flywheel HP

-The results were 347.3 flywheel HP

I thing the results were very good with the lack of mods, and no flash.

You can see in the Air fuel map how rich this is running, I really need to get a flash.
I am planning on going back up to DYNO4MANCE for the Vishnu tuning session next week.

Oh and one more thing, on the end of the Air/fuel graph you will see it sky rocket up, that is because the meter shot of the tailpipe at the last second.

Congratulations, man. First, you got a nice car there, and second, your post is very well written. No bs about your mods, no bs about your boost, etc. This is the way to do it. Thanks for sharing your numbers with us. I am sure there will be more numbers to come as you keep adding mods.

I just wanted to see what it was going to put down at the wheels with these 2 mods I have, I will compare it to the numbers I get when I get a custom flash.

garentee u get another 25-35hp with a good flash. nice numbers. with those mods on my 03 numbers were 255ish. i just have a quick question, how did they get flywheel hp? is it just a simulated number with a percentage added on to your whp number? if so do u know what they added?

Wow incredible numbers for no tune, usually IXs don't make too much more power with bolt ons and no tune, then they get tuned and WATCH OUT! But you must have a real strong IX from the start. 265.9WHP on a DD is just over 300WHP on most dyno jets. Still you do need to get tuned very soon.
