I had the car tuned for torque...br500 turbo 422/405 at the ground...with a nasty miss if I reved it past 7200....that MR was nice...and quick... Frank drove it within 1" of it's life..time was in going through 1 flat in 4th (and still getting it slowed down for 2) and flat in 4th through the Esse's....DMS allowed this imho..I could carry speed where no one else could.

No more dynojet runs but we did change the turbo on the car now. We put a GT42R on it and took the GT45R off to try and gain more area under the curve. It worked and we gained some top end power.

On our MD we have now made 781 whp.

The track is suppose to be open this weekend, if it is........we're going.

BTW, we are building a time attack car. Pictures of it and such are on our website. Go check them out. We are not using a big turbo. As a matter of fact we are using the same set up my RS has for the entire build. EVO920g-5 going on the car.

The time attack car is worth looking at. APR widebody kit on it.

Any updates on these cars? I was wondering cause I heard a nasty rumor that Al's car threw a rod. Anyone want to confirm or deny this rumor for me? It would suck, but at those power levels anything can happen.

You'd probably get a better response asking your questions over on buschurforums.com

Would you care to identify the source of this rumor ?

The last time I was driving my car I was driving Moderator Fireball down the road for a fun run

Then the car went on to the dyno for about 10 900 whp dyno pulls until the ignition crapped out and it started a miss fire

Since then the car has been sitting in Ohio waiting for me to find time to finish the prep work for race season

One of the bad things about this industry is all the haters and gossip queens

Updates. Al's car did NOT throw a rod. Al's car is here having even more work done and we finished the graphics.

The black car did make an outing this weekend. I forgot my laptop cable so we couldn't make any adjustments or even log the car. This killed us because we didn't have the two step hooked up.

The car simply would not launch or make boost until about 300'. We managed a 10.3 at 151 mph. Only made 3 passes. First one Dan lifted, got scared he couldn't stop, that was a 11.1 at 142. Then the next pass was a 149 mph and then the last at 151 mph.

No nitrous, no alky. Just C16 and boost. The car will need some boost to get off the line. Next time we go.

The 151 mph run was only 110 mph in the 1/8 th mile.

Do you mean the turbo set-up? If so yes, we can build another or 100 more. The rest of the car is basically everything we already offer here and sell already.

I was told this by someone in Ohio, the person wishes to remain anonymous. Are you calling me a hater or gossip queen? I asked if it was the truth or just another nasty rumor. Good luck to you and your car either way Mr Friedman.
