Engine revving for no reason
Got a IX with only 5,000 on it. Have a hks rs and helix tbe. If i am in say 5th gear or any gear around 3000 rpms if i just put it on the floor without downshifting it will rev slowly like it is having turbo-lag.. then it will rev quickly to like 5k and drop back to 4k like the clutch is slipping.. But it can't be the clutch slipping because when it revs to 5k quickly it is still accelerating.. If the clutch were slipping it would just rev freely and not speed up.. Is this something wrong with the MIVEC or the MIVEC finally getting broke in or what?? Anybody experienced this.. Again I have only made about 4 passes on it at the drag-strip and i don't really drive the car hard so the clutch cant be going bad.
