Hey guys I was wondering if upgraded IC pipes actually made a difference or would i just be wasting my money. I already have an intake and turbo-back exhaust. thanks

and I forgot to say that I'm looking to see what the best upgrades would be on stock boost without just getting new BOV and turning boost up. Also i forgot to mention that i have a walbro fuel pump and MBC.

I had the exact same mods when I put my pipes on. I just got mine on last weekend. I had a mail-in tune right before install, so I was still getting used to the power increase. However, I seemed to feel the most difference right when the turbo kicked in (~3200 RPM). It was more of an immediate turbo boost over the gradual pulling that I had before.

I also noticed the upper pipe isn't that much different than stock (I have the Helix kit). But the LICP is much larger from the turbo elbow to about 18" back. That's probably why they say all the gains are in the lower pipe. Good luck.

The only piping that gives your gains in the LICP, the UICP just looks pretty

I personnaly wouldn't waste your money on piping just yet. I'd go ahead with the following mods before replacing your FMIC and/or piping:
Manual boost controller (Hallman or Forge)
Turboback exhaust
K&N drop-in
Walbro 255 pump
Flash (TurboTrix or AMS)
Turn the boost up to 21psi

See how that goes for ya. You won't really gain anything from a new FMIC and UICP until you've pretty much modded your stock turbo...and even then, I'd just buy a LICP and keep the rest stock. I'd use the FMIC/UICP money for a set of cams/headstuds to really get some gains out of the motor.

I might go back to stock piping. After Market LICP fitment isn't great like stock. They usually rub against frame, undertray and AC line.

LICP=yes. UICP = no. Neither of them would come close to giving the gains of a tune, though. You have a great combo of mods, but why aren't you tuned? Are you tuned and forgot to mention it? Adding a fuel pump on top of the stock tune is crazy. That would make you richer than rich. Get a mail-in Dynoflash for $199, and watch the corners of your mouth spread really wide.
