best power for the money cams?

But i wouldve went with comp cams being they have the same lift and duration as the hks, wich r aggressive and what i wanted. Both r also a solid core.

when it comes to the srt community, crower reigns supreme. cams are totally different, different companies make different cams, and all the specs are different.
perk of crower cams, they will custom grind you ANYTHIGN you want...for the same price (atleast they have never charged me more for a custom grind).
again, in the srt circle, crower offers the duration you need and the lift you want.

Kelford. Look them up....rally cams dude! Imports em.
Jerestan ran them in his car (probably the first non-tuner with GT35r setup), actually he ran a lot of different cams and these seemed to be the best setup with his GT35r. The JUN's might have put down more power, but the Kelford's created a much more livable setup. My .02.
Not sure of the cost, but you get what you pay for. JUN 272's are good stuff too, a lot of the AMS setup's are using them.

thanks for the positive response. seems to me that majority are saying comp cams are best bang for the buck.
one quick question, do i need to upgrade the lifters and spring with any of these cams?

upgrade the springs for sure...revolver springs working well in my car. there are several other springs available as well. you might find comp cams springs at a good price too when you buy the cams at the same place. good luck...
thanks.

I have GSC cams and they are a good bang for the buck. I made solid whp gains and paid around $420 shipped for them.
The responses to this thread are largely useless because every poster is just saying that whatever cams they have are the best....unless the person has tried out multiple sets and verified their gains, they really are no authority.
Make your decision on best combination of repuation and price. I thought GSC's fit the bill pretty well, although if I had to do it again, I'd just buy a used set of HKS 272s. - you can find them for $350 or so if you look around.
