MBC problem

ok so unless my boost gauge is wrong which im pretty sure its not....my car is only running 17PSI and i tried to raise the boost with my hallman MBC but i turned it as far as it goes and nothing happened. I checked all the lines and everything is perfect. Anybody have any idea what this could be?

Are you sure you tightened it all the way to the maximum possible? If so, then perhaps it has a weaker spring, or the installation is improper. There are many troubleshooting steps here, but here's some quick questions?

- Did you just install the Hallman recently?
- Has it ever given you more than 17psi?
- At minimum, does it give you 11psi?
- How did you install it?
- Did you reuse any of the stock vaccuum hoses?

i just had a problem with my hallman. my hallman would not hold boost. so i took it apart and replaced the o-rings. now it works as before. i hope your problem is an easy fix too.
