it seems like a good setup, but how user friendly would it be?

would it be like the Tein controller?

It would be mappable with a laptop. To toggle between two ACD maps, you can use any simple switch. However, we would be providing maps for various driving characteristics/applications so there would be no need for user-tuning. Unless they really wanted to mess around with it themselves.

Not sure about this really...for that sort of money I would think only veteran road racers would benefit...especially since the USDM cars lack AYC.

How would it compare to Ralliart's replacement ECU which runs about US$500?

EDIT: linky linky

It would be a good idea but the price seems a bit steep. i would expect an ACD controller to be in the 500-700 dollar range.

It would lal depend on the end product.

I believe the Ralliart ACD ECU won't work on US cars.

ACD Controller

I've been on the verge of buying the Ralliart Controller for track use. Motec and Gems both sell units for the Evo (~ $1800 US AIR) which are programable. Some setups use a thumbwheel to ramp lock-up value. The Ralliart units will trigger a code light on US Evos - there is a thread on this in the Lancer Forum. FWIH some of the SCCA T2 guys and SM Autocrossers are well aware of the Ralliart, which is a plug and play setup though more conservative than the more expensive programables. I for one would buy the Vishnu setup if it were available.

ahh ok, i see so it would be a little more complex then the Tein setup? (giving the user more options)

i had the Tein setup in my ITR, and i found it pretty simple to play with once i got used to it, it just didnt have many options....
