Well, my friend in Japan told me that monster sport just released some hot new parts for the Evo lineup. he gave me a link to their catalog. its pretty cool, they released a lot of engine parts, crank, cams, you name it.

They got some nice parts but.

I just got priceing on the cams they are 12mm lift which would make them the highest lift cam out for a evo 4-9

They have to be out there minds at that price i rather get tomei 280's at $680 for both.

 

Ok i got some better news about there cams looks like that price i was quoted was a rip off.

It's a lil over $800 for both cams

But the rev limiter on theses cams are 7500rpm i can see the crazy lift and all but what i dont get is why would they only spin up to 7500 why not just spin up to 9000rpm.

Then i think about it and when japan makes parts they play it safe and thats the reason why you see there pistons and rods rated at around 400-800 whp and not anything above that. If you see where im going with this.
