Angry Issue with Greddy timer harness and not happy with Lancershop customer service!

I've ordered a Greddy TT and the greddy harness from Lancershop.
I've installed everything on my car, the timer is linked to the e-brake and to the ECU speed sensor. Both features are working correctly when the ignition key is on ACC.

BUT I can not remove the key without shutting down the TT which makes the TT useless . I know many people already had this issue with Greedy TT and Harness on this forum.

So I've tried to fix the problem and I checked voltage on the three wires on the harness, here are my results:
- when key is on ON: RED = 12V, BLUE = 12V, GREEN = 12V
- When key is on ACC: RED = 12V, BLUE = 0V, GREEN = 0V
- When key is on OFF: RED = 0V, GREEN = 0V, BLUE = 0V

The problem becomes obvious, I do not have any power at OFF position. That's mean that the harness doesn't fit my car, wires are not tapped correctly.
Since the harness is suppose to be plug & play, I consider the product defective: it does not work properly.

I've also checked the reference: mine is grd.TT-14-43 (with no "M")
According to this Link, I've got the wrong one!
It's written:
- 14-43 for DSM 89-94
- 14-43M for DSM 95-99
Lancershop did not send the right part, there is a mistake in their package.

I called them and told them that the part I received is not working.
They want me to send the part back at my own expense! WTF should I do that?!? I should pay for their mistake?
They also told me that the 14-43 is the same product that 14-43M, is it correct?

I sent them emails with no answers since they sent me my RMA number for return.

I'm not an happy customer and they basically do not care at all. the customer service

What should I do next: send the part back (and spend money for their mistake), then ask for a substitute? I'm afraid they will send me the same part since it seems to be a good part for them.
Ask them to send the HKS/Blitz harness instead of the Greddy one?

I need advice, thank you for reading my (long) story.

I spoke with Mary.
She was nice on the phone with me but she could stop telling me that she cannot do anything, her manager said "no, It's his responsability to ship back the product since it was used right now."

**** man. You're in Troy - They're over in Ann Arbor area.

Drive over and settle it... yeah it's a little far, but maybe you'll be able to pick up from now on and save on shipping.

I could have agreed with you that I could have picked up everything I ordered. But I didn't.
I paid for parts and shipping and a mistake happened. I have no problem with the mistake since I can really leave without what is missing.

I've already paid for everything, so should I really spend 1/2 day, plus gas to fix the problem. I don't think so.

However, I'm not happy so far with the customer service, that's a fact, but I ordered more products besides TT and everything is fine. Price was great and timing was ok. My overall experience is not so bad.

I especially need advice about what I should request to fix the issue. I'm afraid to get the same product and get some more issues.

that is strange. i've ordered numerous parts from lancershop. you do need the 14-43M. i have the same TT and got the 95-99 eclipse IGN harness adapter. i've had no issues with mine and its been in over a year. talk to the sales manager personnally on this issue is my only advice. he's the one to make the final call most likely.

So you confirm that with the 14-43M I should be fine.

Yup I got the same harness for the same TT, but I havnt installed mine yet, so i am not sure if I have the same problem, but I read of one other guy having the same problem..

I will not buy anything else from lancershop as I specifically asked them if they had a part in stock and they told me yes, they do. 2 weeks later after being promised that it will be shipped on 2 different dates, i send a follow up email, asking for a tracking #, no response of course, but suddenly my order notes get updated on their site and it will ship out this monday is the next promise that the other note about the last shipping dates are removed. I am waiting for the part to fininsh up my car, which i why i asked in the 1st place. Poor, poor customer service and this is the 3rd order i have placed with them and I have had issues with.

Sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread, but this is really Sh*ty service.

Do not be sorry, I'm happy to see that I'm not the only unhappy customer.
Checked with a voltmeter, if you can, tension from the harness when plugged, maybe it's only me. I've seen some other threads with the same problem, so I'm probably not the first one, neither the last

They should stop delivering the part if it doesn't fit our evos. A store called Lancershop should provide parts for EVO (or at least for Lancer )

If we can regroup people not happy in one thead I think it's better.

BTW, I don't like to play the bad guy, I'd rather have no problem which is not the truth. but nothing happens when I try to deal with them...

Man I just called them and asked, what up with the crappy customer service and I was told if I want to cancel the order just go ahead and dispute the charge with my credit card company. Can you believe that!

I can tell when my money is not wanted. Never again, buyer beware.

Just to close the topic: I received a new harness from Lancershop.

I asked them to ship me a Blitz/HKS harness instead of the Greedy.
Right now it's working perfectly!!!

I had to pay for the shipping to send the previous one back. I paid $6 which is not a big deal but I shouldn't have paid it, it's not normal!

+ I received the new one in a card box without any packaging, just the harness and tons of newspapers to protect it. It's a used harness. It works which is the main point but I'm not so happy.

So definitely to Lancershop, I will think twice next time I will order something. Too bad!!!
