how much damage did I just do?

You know its always the little things that get in the way. Here is the story, tell me if I did any damage or am I just being parinoid.

I had my car up on jack stands this afternoon while I was changing the driveline fluids. When I was finished I started the car up, put it in gear and slowly let the clutch out w/o giving it any gas. All while still on the jack stands. But the car bogged down and stalled right away. So I started it up again and this time gave it some gas while letting the clutch out. The car stayed running but was at like 300RPM. So I rev'ed it up a bit and put it in second. As soon as I left off the gas the car stalled again. I was like WTF !?!?!?!

Then I realized I had the EBRAKE on the whole time .

Did I just mess my TC up or what???

I doubt you did any damage. How did the rear brakes smell?

Am I the only one that caught this ?

Why would you ever try to drive your car while its on jack stands?

The only issue you will have is if you lift only two wheels and tow the car. If you had 4 wheels in the air and the E brake on then there is nothing to worry about.

Depending on how hard your ebrake was engaged it could have worn down your clutch disk a little bit.

Don't worry or be paranoid, it's fine.

Since you got your piece of mind from us you owe us something: What were you doing driving your car in the air?

Next time video it so when you drive it off into your kitchen you will at least have it on tape - Ever see Ferris Beulor's Day Off?
