I guess this sounds bad Do i need to raise boost to 23 psi (tried only at 18psi)?

what is your normal boost? you should try to put it at whatever you run normally.

since it's prolly backing up at hte turbo now you need to make sure that the flow after the turbo is expedited as well as possible... that means bigger o2 and smooth connection to dp etc.

The most probable cause of the car not gaining that much power was that the cams were not set properly. I fixed it and whooooppp i got power. A lot of power and mostly at high rpm....

I set the car to run AFR 12 and 26 psi. The car was going like crazy but after a week a came to my senses and set it back to 20 psi for everyday use and 24 for street racing...

However i noticed something very strange. Before i install the cams i had set the AFR at 11.8 and after the cams the car went very rich. I thought that with the HKS 280/280 cams more air is allowed, so i may even needed bigger cams and not to cut even more fuel...What is happening there? Is that logic?

I run on 100 Octane on Everyday basis...

it went rich cuz you're likely contaminating the combustion mixture and the mixture is no longer burning leaving your o2 sensor reading a rich condition.

you need to setup the cams correctly. if you're running stock turbo then the cams have too much overlap in them, this coupled with the turbo's inability to flow out the exhaust gases causes reversion from increased exhaust pressure. this reversion will rob you of power becuase the exhaust is displacing o2 or fresh air.

get cam gears. run something like -2 intake + exhaust +/- 1 degree either way on either side. see how that works.

The cam gears show +2/-2 but the mechanic told me that he puts the cams where they "should" be and doesnt play with the gears nad the +/- to see the powerband and if they are set correctly. The cams according to their specifications must be set in a certain position...

I cannot say anything bad for my mechanic because he tunes the fastest EVO in Greece, the fastest EVO with stock turbo and a lot more. Plus the fact that my car goes a lot faster for sure...I will for sure play with the cam gears next month that i will tune the flash my car to see what happens there...

The power starts now at 3800rpm and goes up to 6500rpm where you feel another small boost all the way up to 7500rpm. iI think the stock turbo with this cams now is a limitation...
