Boost question

Ok, so me and my buddy with an STi decided to take it to the track and race. I have a 06 IX GSR with AMS LICP, AMS turboback catless, and HKS rs intake. My question is can i raise my boost with my MBC to 23 for the race?? Even tho I am untuned i think it would still be safe......just for one time down the track. Let me know what you guys thinkk

Not unless you use race gas.

23psi is where I have my defi warning siren come on. I personally havent had a knock reading higher then 1v when this happens, but it was also very cold outside on the occasions that it happened.

I wouldnt suggest going past 21psi, depending on your fuel (Like Warrtalon says). Its kind of like playing russian roulette with your car. Is that little bit of extra boost, that will net you, most likely, very little gains worth it? Your car, your call...

What do you mean "with the creep"? I don't like the sound of that...
